DS had a baseball game this evening and between the cheering and chatting I managed to complete the toe of the second sock. I have also been playing with different stitch patterns for the raglan cardi button bands, and after trying half a dozen or more the winner is ~drumroll please~ garter stitch. Yes, just plain old, reliable garter stitch. Hope it works ok.
