as promised

here is a picture of the progress I've made on the sock cast on Sunday. As you can see, there isn't much. There is a reason for that. On Monday night, DH asked if I could make a scarf for a co-worker's wife, as a Christmas gift. Being the wonderful, kind person that I am, I willingly agreed to take on the task. It had nothing to do with having an excuse to go yarn shopping on Tuesday (you believe that, right?).
